We have always wanted to do a black wood model acoustic guitar and when Stan Bellgard of Queensland put in an order for this one we jumped straight at it, knowing that it was going to be something very special.

Due to the difference of the material for a sound board rather than spruce or redwood etc. many things needed to be altered for example the sound board itself and bracing so as to bring out optimum performance.

The result was and is one of the best sounding acoustic guitars we have manufactured.
