Jazz Archtop Guitar
Soma
The Soma is an (f) Hole Arch Top
country guitar that has a slightly narrower tapered body
than that of the Jazz,
which not only projects but is very, very loud. It
has a fishman transducer bridge coupled with bronze wound
strings producing a unique crisp country sound.
The main
feature of this guitar and the sound that rings so clear
is that I use Sequoia Redwood for the sound board. The
top and back is hand carved thicker in the middle and tapering
to the sides much thinner than that of the Jazz models to
create sound volume, both top and back are tuned for optimum
voicing.
